They work with our 4-H teenagers, starting in October of the year before, so they provide the leadership at camp for the week. 4-H is a youth/adult partnership and Bill & Kirsten want the teens to learn in a safe environment. The teens lead campfire, recreation, crafts, water front and teach different types of line dances. Our camp runs for four and a half days. The camp we rent each year has great facilities. There is a pool, lake, full basketball court, sand volleyball court, soccer field and a softball field. The kids, with trained supervision, can also shoot air rifles or arrows. Our camp can hold 100-120 campers, teens and adults. If you want to send your young 4-H’er to a safe camp with lots of fun, please contact our 4-H office in Oroville and talk to Nick Bertagna at 538-7201.
