Chico Performances Presents: Kitchen Dwellers

The Queen’s Cartoonists, a riotously fun and talented sextet have arrived to live score cartoons and animated films from the golden age of cartoons, from Bugs Bunny to modern animation. Virtuosic musicianship, multi-instrumental mayhem, and comedy come together to celebrate two uniquely American art forms: jazz and animation.

Known for their high-energy, psychedelic live performances , the Kitchen Dwellers are credited by their fanbase for creating a genre of music known as “Galaxy Grass.” A decade after the group came together playing jam sessions in the kitchen, the Montana-based four-piece has transcended traditional genre boundaries, blending virtuosic bluegrass wizardry with ecstatic rock‘n’ roll energy and adventurous psychedelia.
