Saturday at the Museum: Harvest Season
Join the Valene L. Smith Museum of Anthropology for the launch of our fun filled Saturday at the Museum! The first Saturday of the month will include free admission to exhibits and themed, hands-on activities for all ages.
Curious about the role of archaeologists? Explore the exhibit, “Connecting the Pieces: Dialogue on the Amache Archaeology Collection”. What lies between the folds of exquisite and beautiful Japanese kimonos? Discover the world of kimonos in the exhibit, “Unfolded: Seasons and Symbols of the Kimono”.
Join us on October 5, 2024 from 11am to 3pm for fall-themed activities such as leaf rubbings and harvest printing, creating your own prints from fruits and vegetables.
