The Jupiter String Quartet has won numerous awards including the Banff International String Quartet Competition, Young Concert Artist Guild Award, and The Cleveland Quartet Award. They were the quartet in residence at Lincoln CenterChamber Music Society from 2007-2010 and are currently in residence at Krannert Center, University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. Equally committed to the classics, they have performed the entire cycle of Bartok and Beethoven String Quartets, and to new works, performing commissioned pieces by Dan Visconti and Osvaldo Golijov. Their program will certainly enthrall and delight.
