North State Symphony; Sounds of the Cinema

The orchestra will perform classics from Dr. Zhivago and John Williams’ unforgettable score to E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, as well as familiar sounds from Disney, Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean. This collage of iconic movie scores is bound to satisfy movie lovers of every kind. Pianist Olga Kopylova returns to the North State Symphony to celebrate the 100th anniversary of George Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue.
