The Importance of Being Earnest
Be transported to the Victorian Era by Inspire School of Arts & Science’s production of The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. This sharp satirical comedy comes to new life in this gender-swapped production. Here, Wilde’s classic characters live in a world where women are in power and men look to secure advantageous marriages. Hilarity ensues when the two women seek to propose to the young men that they choose. However, both women are using the false alias of Ernest unbeknownst to anyone except each other, which may eventually spell disaster! Tea service is included in your ticket price and food is an additional option during the online purchase of your ticket. The production performs at First Christian Church in Chico on November 11th and 12th at 2 and 7 PM. Reserve yours on the Inspire website. Cheers!
